Available throughout Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and regional Victoria, the Drive Thru Pre Departure COVID-19 test involves attending a testing clinic to be swabbed by an experienced pathology collector. An RT-PCR test (as per airlines requirements) is then performed at the laboratory to test for COVID-19. Upon completion of your test, certified test results will be emailed to you in PDF format, usually within 18 and 30  hours so you can present to your airline for your international flight departure. It is simple and easy.

Pre-Flight Home Delivered PCR Tests

Want to avoid the long testing clinic queues, or don’t have a clinic nearby? Choose convenience with the home-delivered pre-flight test which is available throughout the Greater Sydney Area. When you book this option, we will arrange for an experienced pathology collector to come to you at your home (or hotel) to perform your test. An RT-PCR test (as per airlines requirements) is carried at the laboratory to test for COVID-19. Certified test results will be emailed to you in PDF format, usually within 14 and 30  hours so you can present to your airline for your international flight departure.

Your results are presented in PDF format including a QR Code as per airline and destination country requirements. They will be emailed to you as soon as available. The results are accepted by all airlines including Qantas, Etihad, Singapore Airlines and Emirates.

How it Works

Step 1.

Print your email confirmation.

Step 2.

Take your confirmation with you to the test at the selected clinic at least 24-48 hours prior to your flight check in. No appointment necessary.

Step 3.

Results will be sent by email, usually within 30 hours of taking your test.

Save a digital copy and/or print a hard copy.

Step 4.

Show your negative test result certificate when you check in for your international flight.
